A leading wires and cables manufacturer operating one of India's largest authorised distributor networks — spanning thousands of channel partners across every state and region.

The organisation manages a complex distribution ecosystem where distributors handle high-value orders, credit facilities, and product catalogues across wires, cables, and fast-moving electrical goods categories simultaneously.


Context

The problem wasn't distributor relationships. It was information access.

High-value distributors had no direct visibility into their own data. Order status required a call to the sales team. Invoice and payment information meant waiting for a monthly statement. Credit limit utilisation was opaque until it became a problem. Technical documents and price lists were scattered across emails and WhatsApp.

Every piece of operational information that a distributor needed to run their business required a manual touchpoint with the manufacturer's internal teams — creating delays, increasing dependency, and reducing the quality of decisions being made across the network.

For a manufacturer with 1,000+ active distributors, this created an enormous operational burden on sales and support teams who were spending significant time on routine information requests rather than strategic channel engagement.
